HELLO

I’m Yu-Hsin Lin, born and raised in Taiwan, now based in Philadelphia, PA.
I don’t think design is just pixel-perfect work (even though I still fix stray pixels like it’s my part-time job). I see design as the bridge between humans and systems, making complex experiences feel simple, intuitive, and supportive. I love questioning assumptions, noticing subtle details, and shifting perspectives based on the user's identity and their unique way of navigating the world.
If you have any cool ideas, questions, or just want to chat, feel free to reach out 👻
I care about why we design. I focus on solving the right problems, aligning user needs with business goals, and creating real impact.
A good product scales with clarity. I value structure and consistency, using design systems not just for visuals but to align teams and speed up development.
In a world of systems and scaling, I remind myself to stay curious, ask real questions, and design for the messy, emotional, beautiful way people experience the world.
Outside of design, I love cooking way too much (a major perk for my friends), collecting concert merch I definitely don’t need (yes, I’m a huge K-pop fan 🤟), or planning my next Disney trip (three and counting!).
Sometimes I just collapse on the couch, put on some true crime, or let myself fall into a full-on movie marathon.
